Old vs. New Technology

Bobby,
I can't help but think that your advice about bgfindashop.com would work on my
Big Block 440. Yes, she's a little old and tired. My guess is that
it's sludged up; it needs a thorough cleaning and diagnosis for the best
timing setting and carb adjustment.
Do you
think that this is a good approach? The car runs a little rough, and has
been through the plug/wire/timing/carb adjustment route already. It seems that
the mechanics that are familiar with the car want to use their ear to tune it
up, and modern technicians are not willing to work on vehicles that do not have
laptop plugs. Can you recommend a shop in the 95125
zip area?
------
Dennis,
As a matter of fact, the BG chemistry would work
great for your
engine as combustion byproduct accumulation, cylinder ring bypass, fuel
dilution, and a host of other contaminates would be even more prevalent in an
older looser-made engine like yours. I remember when older Ford’s would
actually lose compression when carbon accumulated severely under its
valves. Go to www.bgfindashop.com and put in your zip!
Sincerely,
Bobby Likis
