Tranny Jerks in Overdrive

Subject: Jerking Tranny

Bobby,

I have a ’94 Fleetwood Cadillac that has a jerking feeling from the tranny when in overdrive gear. I have been told I need a new torque converter to correct this. It's like it can't decide if it is in gear or not. Your view on this would be greatly appreciated.

Go to www.bgfindashop.com and have the trans thoroughly flushed (make sure they operate the trans at least 20 minutes with pre-flush chemicals). If this does not help, you may have to go deeper inside the unit.
